    • Marguerite McVicker spent much of her childhood at her grandmother, Estelle Holden's home. She trained to be a nurse at the Wilson Memorial Hospital. She then got a good job with the Endicott Johnson Shoe Company in the sales department. She worked there until she had her first child, Janet. Walter and Marguerite lived on Round Top, in Endicott, New York.
      Margurite spent many years as a volunteer at the Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital (Tarpon Springs Hospital). She was honored for all of her hours of service.
