  There are two John McVickers that were living in the Balleymoney area of Antrim, Northern Ireland at about the time that our John would have been alive What we know: John McVicker widow John MCVicker (b. 1827) According to the 1901 Ireland Census taken on April 18, 1901 there was a John McVicker, a 74 year old widow who was living in Kirkhills, Stranocum, Antrim, Ireland with two grandsons, John (15 years old) and 11 year old James. Both Johns were listed a s Farm Labourers and James was listed as "scholastic" which I assume meant a student. On a census document entitled "Form B.!. - House and Building Return he was enumerated as sharing a building with another family by the name of Robert Lynass. John, John and James lived together in one room. On the same form there is a Patrick McVicker living with seven people in two rooms. John McVIcker Charles Street John McVicker (b. 1827 or 1825) Wife Mary Ann "Annie" McVicker According to the 1901 census taken on April 13, 1901 in Balleymoney (Urban), there was a John McVicker living at 59/6 Charles Street with his wife Mary Ann McVicker. John was 74 or 76 and Mary Ann 62. The house is a Private dwelling with eight rooms and four windows across the front.According to the Public Records Officve of Ireland's Wills Index, this John Died June 10, 1902. Mary Ann also left a will leaving "the sum of thirty pounds to the parish priest for masses to be said in public for the happy repose of my soul." She died December 15, 1906
